This is a fantastic place to cross over the river. It is a great scenic view. You can also park below and take part in various water activities. There are also hiking and biking trails around. It is a local attraction. Not bad at all.

Launching and retrieving kayaks, is a breeze at the bridge. Parking is free (outside of the park) and it only takes about 5 minutes, between vehicle and to be in the water.

Great views of the bridge and the river if you park on the South Side of the bridge and follow the trail to the top of a small hill. It is not much and if you don't expect the Grand Canyon it is really nice....More

The best thing about the bridge is the view from the north side of Loop 360. This is where all the best photos are shot.

I'm glad I read the reviews here before I ventured out to the bridge. I parked where it says "no parking" (not proud of it but did it anyway). Who know if they will ever crack-down on it. It's a short walk up (less than...More

While the bridge is beautiful, it is the hike at which you get to the viewpoint of the photo that is worth the trip. Scared of heights? Don't get too close. Looking over the shear cliff is thrilling and allowing you to get a good...More

This bridge was designed in the US, but built by the South Koreans. It exemplifies nearly all areas of engineering - civil, mechanical, chemical (the asphalt and paint), transportation, How many can you think of when you see it.

To get to enjoy the view of the Pennybacker Bridge, the river and the wonderful sunsets people park right there where it says "NO PArking" and then hike up. It was nice to be upthere where people go to simply enjoy the wonderful view.

Not if you want to live another day. Capitol of Texas Highway is VERY busy. People do bike across the bridge, but I am sure walking is not advised....
