Me and my 6 friends came here after eating dinner from across the street and we had the worst experience ever!! There was no where do sit because of a wedding that was going on so I see 2 people at a booth where about 8 people can sit and they were all taken up!! So a few of us... More

We came here for drinks on Memorial Day and it was packed! It was very heard to hold a conversation with the music up and so many people there, but the bartenders were friendly and the drinks were great. It's walking distance to some solid restaurants too...

I live nearby and we like this bar, so we decided to go there for New Year's Eve. I always have a good time at The Gibson, between trivia night and wine Wednesday etc, and this time was no different! I really enjoyed gibson street bar and went there several times while in Austin. I especially loved mondays where they had makers mark for only $3 if you were wearing a moustache. (It could be either real or fake, and they provide a variety of fake moustaches for your wearing pleasure). They have a lot going on throughout the week... More

My trip list to Austin took me to Gibson Street Bar. I give this bar a Very Good, because we had such a dang good time with some down home people. Sometimes that can speak much more than other accolades. Gibson is a roadside bar with indoor seating and outside communal picnic bench seating....and that's where we chose to sit,... More
