If you are a gardener at any level, you should visit the Botanical Garden. We were lucky to see a Bonsai special exhibit on our visit. Some of the walking paths are a little difficult, but there is a wheelchair accessible path available as well.

I love lizards and the botanical garden had some cool wild ones that will pose for photos. I thought they were very generous with their time, which made them more lovable. Overall, the gardens are beautiful and it is a good way to spend the...More

We were very impressed with the layout of the garden. Lots of trees to keep you cool on a hot day. Interesting little nooks and crannies. May was a good time to visit. We were short on time, but we hope to do it again...More

I am glad admission was one dollar because that is all it was worth. Where are the flowers. We saw weeds galore. A waste of time in the 100 degree weather!

It was a nice botanical garden, with different types of gardens along the paths such as a Japanese garden. Some water with fish, turtles. Not so unusual as botanical gardens go but we a great time here.

At the garden, pets are not allowed, but there is a section in the park( the opposite area) that people go with their pets and play there, just be sure to bring a leash( since I do not know the rules regarding that).

I wish there were but at this time there is no cafe or restaurant. There are many restaurants down the street toward Lamar Boulevard.
Is the garden quite colorful in January, or is it in winter down time
