This was the best and most entertainment we have had for a long time!! The cast is talented and funny. The venue is small and intimate. The comedy is spot on and extremely "current" and the political satire is so well done that you can't...More

Visited Austin for a few days. Everyone had recommended that I see this show - now I know why! Hilarious shows - great performances by the actors, and the magic was AMAZING! Bought tickets online earlier in the week (highly recommend to do so, as...More

So glad we did this! I would recommend spending the extra $5 to get assigned seats. The skits were hilarious and had many unexpected twists to them! Anything political appeared to be fair game! My favorite? The “Sam I Am” skit!

We attended the Ester’s Follies Show last night and really enjoyed it. The skits, the magic, and the singing was all excellent. It’s a variety style show with political comedy (like a Texas version of Saturday Night Live). The show had amazing energy and we...More

We were hesitant to bring our 14 year old but he totally got it and enjoyed the show very much! Funny, laid back and just a good time. You can get drinks at the bar and bring them into the “theater” and they have snacks...More

A really fun way to spend a Thursday night as part of our 4-night trip to Austin. "Theater" was about 100 seats right in the heart of 6th Street, walking distance from our hotel. The show was funny, not too long, entertaining and fast-moving. I...More

A great ensemble! We weren't up for another night of bar-hopping and music ... and one of our tour guides told us about Esther's Follies. So enjoyable.

We were there last Thursday and had so much fun. The comedy and magic were first class. I love how the writers / talent make fun of any and all politician and celebrities. They had me participate in the show which even made the experience...More

The shows on a weekend are the same. However, the script is modified every week to cover different current events. Where I see the most consistency is with the magic act. But, these are always good and always enjoyed... More

It was largely a liberal crowd and liberal-oriented humor, but far less biting than a lot of what you might see on late-night television. If you ever find this sort of humor funny I expect you will enjoy the show.
