One of Austin's "must-do" spots. Buy tickets ahead of time. Eat befor or after. Outside food is welcome.

Was in town for a business conference, and the Esther's Follies show and dinner was our activity for the first night. The food was great! The show was a little silly but fun. Would recommend for a group.

My wife and I went to this show and it was really a lot of fun. The crowd was very diverse, with all ages (though mostly adults) and both tourists (like us) and people from other parts of Texas. The show was political and topical enough to be highly entertaining but not so much as to turn anyone off. The... More

Yes, just like everyone else says, it is that funny. Where these incredibly talented people came from, and how they have this much energy, is a mystery. It was skit after skit, rapid costume changes, and never missing a beat. The highlight was Shaun Branigan playing as Rick Perry. Between his perfect comedic timing and his one prop, I laughed... A fast paced mix of extremely well written satirical skits and amazing magic! No current subject in the news or Texas life/culture is safe from their sharp wit. A must see for anyone from out of town! Definitely an Austin treasure to behold.

Comedy, parodies, magic and making fun of politicians and ridiculous events in the news-- what more can you ask for? These shows sell out fast, so definitely recommend going early if you get general admission seat. Or pay for the reserved seating. And be prepared to get picked on if you're somewhere at the front... :)

Esther's Follies is an Austin Must See! I have been to Esther's Follies more times than I can remember in my 40 years living in Austin. Every time I have an out of town visitor, I schedule Esther's Follies into our curriculum. The material is fresh and funny. A lot of their material contains political satire but they offer much... The best political comedy skits delivered with perfect timing. What a fun evening and there is audience participation too! Undated to current events so always changing.

I have visited Esther's Follies twice in the last few years. My wife wanted to go again and I was reluctant. This was our early Valentine's date so I acquiesced. I am happy that I did! The show was great. Entertaining and Funny!
