Good place to bring small children, could use an update

I'm not sure if you can use the term modern with the name "drive in" but I feel like this place could be a lot better with a little bit of an update. Otherwise it's awesome... read more

I wish someone would buy it & fix it up. It would be so sad to see it go. It's part of the local charm of our town. I have been here so many times throughout my life. Wonderful memories with my family as a child & later in date nights.

This drive-in has been closed for some time now. It is (unfortunately) run down and the signs are deteriorating very fast. Entire thing for sale, but not worth the huge price they are asking. Sorry, but this is one that is no longer available to be visited. The closest drive-in is in Bristol, TN.

This was the best part of summer as a child. We would send weeks in Abingdon to visit my grandmother. Once we moved here my parents took us here every week it's a shame that place is starting to look bad.

We went to Abingdon in large part for the drive in theatre. It's one of the few around and, while it is definitely showing it's age, it's so much fun. It's such a shame that most of them are gone. It's probably one of the nicest ways to enjoy a movie as a family. Lay under the stars on blankets... More

The only one left in the area...good movies and brings back wonderful family memories! This was about all the entertainment back in the 50s and was the place to go...
