My husband and I took a food tour of Georgetown last weekend. It was a great food tour. Our guide Alissa, was fabulous. She had a great personality and was very knowledgeable about the area and the food. We stopped at 4 local restaurants and all of them were quite different but equally delicious. We started off at a vegan... More

I did the Georgetown tour. We had a group of six plus the guide. The tour was 3.5 hours and made 4 stops, 3 savory and 1 dessert. Portions were big considering we had three savory stops. Our guide Alisa was friendly and shared lots of interesting info about the neighborhood and the restaurants we visited. Great time.

We had a Saturday PM walking food tour with Pablo, with 8 guests, just the right size. We stopped at 4 local restaurants, all charming and tasty and altogether different. Pablo was very engaging and clearly an expert in both food and the local history of Alexandria. This is such a charming old town, so combining the food tour with... More

Had a great time experiencing all the different sites and four restaurants in Alexandria. Our tour guide, Terry, was very knowledgeable about Old Town history and current happenings in the city. The food was excellent. A must-do while in Alexandria.

The tour folks picked some great restaurants for us to try: Italian, BBQ, Lebanese and a bakery. We all agreed that the Italian restaurant had the best food with a delicate pasta and nutmeg infused white sauce. Mmmm Unfortunately, on the day of our tour the weather was hot and humid. My weather app put the "feels like" temp at... More

Andrew was our tour guide who was so fun, friendly, and knowledgeable!! This was my fourth food tour and my favorite. The food choices were chic yet comfortay palatable and exciting for even the pickiest of eaters. The added history info between stops is so interesting. Be prepared to walk, recommend those of average to good physical fitness if going... More

After thoroughly enjoying tours in Chicago and New York, I looked forward to this one. Disappointing...very little history, only 4 stops, too long at each stop with awkward silences. More stops with less food at each is much better.

My boyfriend and I did the U Street food tour with Eric.. The food was incredible at every stop. Everything was set up in a way that made the tour really flow well without having to wait anywhere or walk too fast from one place to the next. I loved how the restaurants were chosen in collaboration with the history... More

I've taken several food tours and this one did not disappoint. Terry was very knowledgeable and interesting. He kept on schedule and brought us to 4 locations to try the local fare in Alexandria, Virginia. Portions were nice and I was glad I got to experience these restaurants. We dined on spinach ravioli, ribs and fried green tomatoes, Lebanese assortment... More

I did the Georgetown Food Tour on a rainy and cool day in March. My guide was a very sweet young lady and the tour was a lot of fun, as our group was a diverse mix of locals and tourists from abroad. The tour was nice to walk around historic Georgetown, learn a little history and get some food,... More
