The Birchmere is an awesome venue to see an artist. Food good. Get there early to get your seating number. You go in by your number. You can sit wherever you want. All seat are good but the ones up close are the best. Parking on site free.

The Birchmere has been around a long time but the time is reflected in charm rather than age. Everything is general admission but the seating is very controlled based on the little ticket you receive when you stopped by the ticket office (which you must do!). So, you can send someone in early while everyone else eats across the street... More

Saw Don McLean here over the weekend. Great show! The venue is very intimate and for the most part, not a bad seat in the house. The food was OK. Not the best, but far from the worst. Great lineup of shows. Will definitely go back to see additional shows. May or may not eat dinner here the next time.

The Birchmere has a dinner theater plant, but is dedicated to bringing live music acts to its intimate atmosphere. Many are Bands and Artists of yesteryear. By buying your ticket in advance, you are assured of seating, and can arrive at your leisure, as there isn't a bad seat in the place. If you choose to come early, you are... More

First time at the Birchmere. Was expecting a small hall, a bar, and a small floor to stand in front of stage. The Birchmere is nothing like that! A large room, numbered tables. Bring your appetite. Food was great, waitstaff was great. David Duchovny and his band gave a great show (even though the poor thing was under the weather.)... More

Went to the Birchmere to see Arlo Gutherie. Have always enjoyed the intimate setting there. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff. Our server was really attentive and very friendly!!

What WONDERFUL evening! Ms Collins' voice was rich, her quips were lighthearted and wicked, her rapport with the audience was a mix of nostalgia and delight. "Only " two full hours of music-- oh we wanted so much more! THANK YOU JUDY and THANK YOU Birchmere-- I found no problem with the sound system which was rich and well rounded.... More

The Birchmere venue is nothing special, and that is an overstatement. And the food is not good. So the least that one would expect is decent music and a good sound system. My wife and I had tickets to see the Judy Collins show on December 27. It was so bad that we left before the show was over. The... More

They present a wide variety of acts, some famous, others a little more obscure. I't s pretty intimate space, while still seating 500 people at tables. The exterior is kind of a dressed up warehouse, but the inside is fun. Because it is always general admission seating, pay attention to explanations of timing on the website. I think the food... Built in an old roller rink this place gets great acts for a venue that seats only 500. Not a bad seat in the house. It is like dinner theater and the food and service were very respectable. If someone you want to see is playing here don't miss them because you will have a great time.
