We weren't aware of this memorial but we could see it from our hotel window at the Residence Inn Pentagon City. It is well worth the visit. The tall structures represent the Burst Maneuver done by the Thunderbirds.

It was an an amazing feeling to be at the Air Force Memorial. To view the spires in person is awe-inspiring. The site is easy enough to get to on public transportation. Parking is plentiful.

This was another beautiful memorial, way on top of a hill looking over the Pentagon and DC, it's also beautiful at night you can see while driving around.

Our tour group did a quick stop at the Air Force Memorial recently. We pretty much had it to ourselves and were able to get some great pics and enjoyed the views from here.

The memorial is on a higher ground. The walking is quite a feat itself. But the view will be worth it. You can enjoy Pentagon and DC from afar. Moreover, the memorial has unique design and is stunning in its own right.

Excellent parking and it is free. There is a security guard on duty as well. Flat area, easy for elderly or handicapped access. Not crowded at all the day we went.
