HUGE WOODED PARK

Washington Park is a great park to visit. It has a large boat launch and very nice campground there are many trails in the deep forest and along a few miles of waterfront.

Spent a few lovely evenings here last month when the sun finally dared put in an appearance. We only live an hour away, but suffering some cabin fever decided to see if we could sense of vacay just by grabbing some camping gear and changing the scenery. It worked. Lovely park, obviously well-maintained though some spaces could be a bit... More

A lovely green space to visit. There is paved driving\walking around the park 2.3miles, parking spots with viewpoints. One can be by the water or up on a cliff. There are marked hiking trails (easy mostly) and never a lot of people. It is beautiful and you can expect to see seals, eagles and if you are lucky the white-sides... More

Washington Park is a wonderful place for many occasions. There are lots of great trails and the tidal pools are fun to check out at low tide.

It's well worth spending the time to hike the path along the shore. The views are terrific, and you don't get to see much of them if you just do the loop drive.

Great park with trails & gorgeous views & nice picnic areas worth a visit ! The trails are easy to walk on & went down to a little beach also that was very nice . Some of the lookouts are pretty high & steep so be careful if you have little ones with .

Since I am staying only 1.5 miles from the entrance of this park it was an easy walk to the park, walk the road loop (about 2.3 miles) and then return home A little over 5 miles roundtrip, about 1:30. There is even a Little Free Library on the way to the park. There are also trails through the woods,... More

Boat launch, campground and play ground make this a great day stop or overnight. Near the WS Ferry Dock in Anacortes.

My family has been going there for generations. We have camped in RV's, tents, and spent days there picnicking for many reunions or special evens in all kinds of pacific northwest weather. There is a boat launch, play area for kids, and there are wild bunnies, and island deer that roam around. You can watch the Washington State Ferries and... More

Washington Park is just a fabulous place to visit. There are so many things to do and see. Yesterday we went just to look over the Guemes Channel, and enjoy a sunny spring afternoon. I really think that you would enjoy Washington Park also
