I don't know how to measure this garden against all the beautiful gardens we have seen. Small, peaceful, with a nice view of the castle. Restful, but cannot compare with the larger more glamorous gardens.

We spent an hour wandering the gorgeous gardens, feeding the fish and relaxing in the cool. A lovely place to visit to see the ornamental gardens... it really is nice. Enjoy a tea and relax

It is a get away place, just to stop time and relax while seeing scenery and peeking to the castle right next to it. There is an small museum and a tea ceremony (reservation needed) that you can visit. Nice place!

As we buy a set of tickets included Matsumoto Seicho Memorial Museum, Castle and this park, so get inside. It is small with a small museum and a library, someone take wedding photos there.

Everywhere I went in Japan the attention to detail was amazing but the walk ways here were hands down my favorite. The things to see and take pictures of are within steps of each other. Loved every minute of the garden.
