Was fun to sit and watch the lock and dam work as the boats came in and sat and waited for the water to lower so they could go out the other side. It was fun. Also, the best thing is to stand on the...More

Climb the stairs and stand right by the lock and dam to watch the barges and boats go through. Very interesting and beautiful view.

It is so cool to watch the huge barges go through the lock and dam. I wish I lived closer so I could take my grandsons more often.

My kids were in heaven. The train bridge was awesome to go over unless you were terrified of heights like my youngest child and husband. Chatting with barge folks was awesome. Highly recommend to all.

We were lucky enough to get to view the lock and dam in action as a houseboat was traveling downstream. We range in ages from 10 - 67 and we all enjoyed watching and learning!
