Try to buy tickets in order to better enjoy the Opera House. They didn't have a program for the day I was in Manaus but I was very lucky as they invited me to a final rehearsal, while touring the place.

Beautiful building with amazing decor! If you don't go to see a production it's worthwhile just visiting the building inside and admiring the work gone into making this beauty.

We didn't have the opportunity to tour the place due to it being closed, but we were able to sneak in and take a few photos. This place is amazing, the architecture and artwork is outstanding!

I loved the architecture and surrounding area buildings and garden. I consider this a must to visit in Manaus historic place. Plan to go during the day time to be able to purchase a ticket with tour inside the building.
