Ship is really big and good illustration but just this. And they have small museum about Cabral and indios. So isso.

It is supposed to be some kind of museum, but it fails in every single way. Some kids make up history and the content is terrible. Even the ship is a disgrace. Stay away from it.

A well presented historic reminder of the courage and seamanship of Portuguese sailors and Ships. Whilst not fitted out it is a wonderful replica in size and sure to enthuse young and old. As a non Brazilian I appreciate it more when the guide explained that from 119 ships only three made it on the shores of a country now... More

The real size ship is not the best remake, but it´s great to go with kids so they can feel a bit of how it used to be back there. It cost R$10,00 each.

My kids loved the real sized scale Portuguese nave you have inside this place. There is also monitors to explain and tell you curiosity about the colonization life. It is a really interesting place to visit!

The great part of this tiny museum is the life size replica of Pedro Álvares Cabral ship. There is also a botanical garden with all the natural flora from the region during the time of the Portuguese arrival in 1500s.

In the absence of local museums that conveys the history of the discovery of Brazil, this is THE attraction. It is not exactly a museum - maybe it is better than that, even if it relies much more on reproductions, like plottered banners and mixed indigenous "gadgets" that not necessarily belong to the tribes of the region and to the... Although nobody can say for certain, this may really have been the place where Cabral discovered Brazil. I like to think about how it happened, more than 500 years ago.

Otherwise, it is just a big cross with an extremely touristy pseudo-indian market for tourists. Landscape is nice
