This is a great place to start your tour of Pelourinho, since you get a guided tour that explains a lot about the history of the city. The building itself is beautiful and fascinating, with great views over the bay.

This is a former hospital, now a museum. The admission price includes a guided tour and we had an excellent guide, who spoke very good English. The visit gave us a real insight into the life of Salvador in the past.

Private owned is very well taken care of and offers a guide at the entrance, unfortunately there are not guides that spoke english at the day I was there. Suggest you to take a guide with you.

The Museum, church, and convent make a wonderful visit. Although I don't generally like being led around by a docent, our guide was brief, to the point, and informative. The displays are interesting and well done. The views are great. Gives great insight into the...More

Visiting this building was included in a historical tour I had chosen. It was very nice and in an excellent way renovated. One of the best part was the English spoken guide "Lucas" who was very friendly and very informative. I would like to visit...More
