Located in Corredor da Victoria neighborhood in museum mile as I like to call it there are 7 museus, art galeries, exhibit spaces in a close walking distance central location great rainy day option

Much about the rich rulers and not much on native culture which was disappointing. Maybe they want to promote former wealth but it surely was not about natives people's.

The objects, the tableware, the furnitures, everything indicates how the sugar cane aristocracy lived at that time. Wonderful heap. I disliked the opening hour: 2:30 PM.

They have a exhibition on the masters from all over the world who did engraving. It is a really cool exhibition, though nothing is in English.

But, it's now under reconstruction and hasn't had a new exhibit in a year. A bienal is scheduled so hopefully...
