A huge place with ramps that circle up to a number of floors. You can find all sorts of souvenirs or market goods here, and we were able to bargain using US dollars. Plenty of beachwear, leather goods, ceramics, regular clothing and footwear. Food also...More

Open daytime. Here you find small shops with local handicrafts, ranging from ceramics to lacework and leather goods. Always full of people. Here you can also have lunch in several places. At the bottom floor you have a small stand where you can buy juices...More

There are around 400 stalls in this Market. A lot of them offer same goods. This is an advantage to the buyer; you can Bargain. Unlike Shopping Malls, here you can get deals. Beachwear, sandals, hats, coffee, cigars, nuts, cachaza, and restaurants. We walked the...More

This is one of the best places to go if you are looking for beach wear - 2 T shirts for R25 - shorts for R12 and so forth. There are 5 levels of goods here plus food. Definitely worth a visit.

Good market for artisan goods, manufactured shoes, clothes, souvenirs, some food, etc. As you climb the stories, prices are lower. Watch your belongings. Sunday’s open until 1pm. Take the 11 bus which stops right in front of the door. Many shops (if not all) accept...More

Great market literally with everything. Lots of the same stuff and a lot looks like it was made in south east Asia but there are also local crafts and souvenirs on offer. Pop in for a cold coconut water.

Looks like a market and it’s. You will find all kinds of shoes, shirts, dresses fruits, food and the majority is hand made or local production. Don’t forget to buy cashews nuts. They taste much better than those canned.

Market with a variety of crafts, clothing and accessories. You can buy hammocks, cachew nuts, flavored cachaça, beach wear, sandals, bags and more. Just be aware that "leather" items are not real leather, even though vendors will tell it is. Food is also available with...More
