The central building of the architectural ensemble of the Liberty Square, the Palace was built in eclectic style with neoclassical influences. Opened in 1897, the building served as home to several governors.

Its a park to sit and relax. It just happens to be that there is always something fun happening in this place everytime you go there. Natives tend to use it for fitness excersises whilst others like to display their craft there

Begginig with the stairs in the central hall the visit worth. You can see how the governor works and the life style. At the back you have a noce garden full of interesting histories. Go and see how nice it is!!!

Beautiful building and gardens. Take a guided tour to learn more about Minas Gerais`History. It was opened to public last year and visits are available on weekends and Holidays.
