Stayed in the Ibis hotel...30 yards from the front door is this beach and walkway. Pleasant place to walk and with the number of local tourists about, a safe place to be. Plenty bars and places to eat. Loved it.

It's a calm beach in the most famous neighborhood of Joao Pessoa. It's clean and has many trips and boats that can take you to beautiful spots offshore.

My wife, my son and I are spending a week in this beach. It is nice, but it is still with marks of poorly educated people, who throw empty bottles and trash in the sand. During the morning, with the low tide it has plenty...More

One of the main urban beaches, it was kind of full of garbage left by tourists, but it's beautiful anyway. There's a few bars with good price. I recomend try to go to the north or south beaches,

Nice place to stay, not that crowded. Clean beach. There's a quite good infrastructure, many options of restaurants, hotels, hostels. Security at night. And cheap coconut water!!! I loved it!
