We took a tour with a guide found on internet and we were very happy. He spoke very well french and knew a lot about the nature, the birds and the plants. We walked from laranjeiras to ponta negra. We stopped at Praia de sono to eat. It was very good and cheap food! The view was amazing. The guide... More

Okay, we weren't expecting the hike but it was well worth it! We drove from Paraty to Praia do Sono, around 20-25 minutes. We parked our car at the trail head at a local person's house. The hike is 3 km, some uphill and winding. It probably took us 45-60 minutes with stops along the way. My friend was carrying... More

Great Walk to beach through lush bush (in shade yay). Easy to get to, take bus right to the end of the line and walk starts there. Waves weren't too big and water was beautiful temp. Hardly any people and a few places to grab lunch right on beach. We loved it!

The beach is an amazing landscape, surrounded by mountains completely recovered with native and wonderful Mata Atlantica forest.

Easy hike and wonderful beach , have lunch on the beach, the fish is great , watch the fisherman going and coming while maneuvering the waves.

We really enjoyed this beach. It was a cool hike of about an hour to get there. The vegetation was beautiful and the beach relaxing. We sat on one kiosk and had a nice fried seafood dish. Take cash because the places do not accept cards due to lack of signal.

The beach is absolutely charming but getting there is not particularly easy. One needs to choose between a boat ride, which isnt very expensive or a good 3 km hike. The beach is beautiful but the waves are giant so unless you love surfing it's not really your place.

Praia do Sonho (Dream beach): one of the most beautiful spots in Paraty area! Wide and long, close only to a fishermans' village is the perfect place to relax and feel the brasilian rhytm. You can reach it crossing a easy walk trail trough the mountain and once there you can enjoy the crystalline sea and taste fresh fish and... More

We took the local bus from Paraty to Laranjeiras, and did the one hour walk on a nice path with a lot of butterflies through the rainforest. The beach was practically empty (primo march) with just enough swell for the children to have fun. Beautiful views and shadows, if needed, from under the castanjeiras-trees. Local fishermen and nice hippies runs... More

A very good place to relax and enjoy the beach! There is almost no waves and you can just stay in the beautiful and warm water the whole day!
