This indoor market is a great place to get the most fresh produce you can get. Most of the stands are from local small farmers and are as fresh as you can dream. There is a great variety of veggies and fruits and there is also a nice spot to have some appetizers and beer.

Excellent (although pricey) place to buy fresh vegetable and fruit some of it organic. There is a well-stocked delicatessen too. This is not the place in Itaipava for a full meal (although the beers are good, the pasteis are excellent, and the service is quick - unusual around here).
