In the heart of Lapa, the Cultural Cafe Sacrilege is a completely different place. Reference by the wealth of information and a remarkable creativity. Identity is the joke of the 'sacred' with bohemian Rio. The result could only be an interactive and house full of stories to tell. The house has the astral da Lapa. Sacrilege is not to know!

Our Uber driver didn't know where Scenarium (?) was and dropped us off on a corner. We heard music coming from inside Sacrilege and decided to just go for it. We were three women, arrived about 9 PM, were seated upstairs overlooking the dance floor and the stage. Had the best time just watching everybody dancing and singing along with... More

These guys definitely skimmed my credit card and stole about 1000USD. It's still a fun place to go but either pay by cash or be very careful covering your pin. I went once and had my cat skimmed a few days later (quite common) I went back one week later (partly because my fiends were going) and covered my pin... More

We have chosen this place as random. We just went to Lapa and were walking on the main street where the clubs are. We had such a great night. Actually we were dancing all night. Locals and tourists were dancing and the athmosphere was very Brazilian. :) The party was on a Friday night and there was 3 bands playing... More

Café Sacrilegio has a very festive atmosphere. I offers very good food as well as its music. If you wish to drink something that is not on the menu, you just have to ask for. If they have, they will serve you. The service is also very good.

Lots of locals having a great time dancing to live samba bands. Really cool interior and a very happy care free vibe.

This more of a live music, eating and drinking place rather than an attraction. Shows are not on every night but you could find out when they are on and book a table through your hotel. There are usually 2 groups playing Samba and Bossa Nova per evening and they are very authentic and good experience. Food is mainly bites... More

We were there on Tuesday night. It was not very crowded but several people was dancing. I am not sure if they had cover charge on Tuesday night, but we could enter by free. Though we did not stay until very late, but it was a good place for us to enjoy samba and drinks. Their band was very cheerful... More

Great music first of all! The band consisted of 9 (I think) young guys with cool attitude and lots of joy, playing a wide range of samba. I am no expert in this genre, but from the reaction of the crowd it seemed like some classiscs since several of the tunes got everyone to sing along. This was by no... More
