Leme is connected to Copacabana. It is actually the beginning of it, at far left. It’s much quieter, less crowded, more family environment spot. The waves tend to be gentler because of the big rock, where you can climb and see the entire beach. Great...More

This is a very multifunctional Beach, we walk belong to the beach, you can see many locals but not tourists. Volleyball, Football, surfing, Sailing, family gathering... you can feel the passion and peace in the same time. Very windy and the sunshine is extremely strong~...More

It's connected to Copacabana, but there are more locals and less tourists, which means less people trying to sell you things. The waves are good but dangerous. I prefer this beach over Copacabana.

We stayed the furthest end of Copacabana beach and this was the location. There is a promenade and also lots of eateries going around the huge rock..where you see people fishing. The beach here is a lot less busy than the middle section of Copacabana...More

Really no boundry between Leme & Copacabana but with no through traffic it is quieter & most eastern section has more protected water
