Basically you can't go to Rio and not pay a visit to the sugar loaf mountain. Best to go during the day that way you can get a view of practically the whole of Rio and it's worth the trip

Amidst a week of poor weather we visited on a clear sunny day. It was marvellous. The organisation of the site was faultless including toilet and refreshment shops. Not to be missed.

Also a must see and do in Rio. Efficient transportation and great views. Although our views were blocked by some clouds. Nevertheless great to go, but do s only when there is visibility.

Just take a look at these photos....they tell a great story and view. We had a tour guide for the day and visiting sugarloaf mountain was included and it’s a worthwhile experience but remember to take a decent camera.

The views are simply stunning, lower in elevation but better views than at Corcovado Mountain (Christ the Redeemer). Also, it's more spacious and has less of a crowd, which makes it much nicer to place to chill and hang out at for however long you...More

Why visit Rio without seeing the views from Sugarloaf? It can get crowded, but one will never forget the experience. Amazing.
