There is a large expanse of sand in between Av Atlantica and the sea, this is Copacabana beach. Most people are near the sea and it seemed to be a bit crowded. I guess that is the price of fame. We were at a place...More

This was by far a big let down for us at New Year. Not because of the crowds as they were expected, however due to the increase in tourism there is a lot of thefts and muggings. Unfortunately we got caught up in several issues...More

One of the worlds most iconic beaches. Beautiful sand, beautiful water and beautiful people. The sheer size of it is a little intimidating, but it was amazing to see all the people playing games on the beach. All along the beach there are great juice...More

Good atmosphere on an iconic beach. But the bars are rather expensive and the beach itself was very dirty!

traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of
everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs,
chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and
more live side-by-side. There are options for all
price points and tastes. However, the most powerful
