There really is a girl from Ipanema! She is now in her 70s but still beautiful! Breaking waves, lots of beautiful people playing games, and scenery to die for. Islands breakup the horizon and to your right Sugar loaf..

Its a nice beach, lots of waves and cold water. Definitely preferred Copacabana as it was quieter and less vendors.

A lot of mention about the criminals, but what about vendors? Are you mostly left alone, or bothered every few minutes by people walking by selling trinkets.
