Ok its free but you dont have any access to the beautiful rooms you expect to see... you cant even get close to a book. Totally useless to me.

Built at the very beginning of the Twentieth Century, the Biblioteca Nacional is Brazil´s most important library. The entrance is free and that allows you to have a glimpse of the huge and beautiful inside structure.

BEAUTIFUL architecture inside. Just the photo moment of the two sided staircase with wrought iron railings makes it worth it. They dont let you into most of the rooms but it is worth going and taking a look.
