Great place to spend some time and enjoy a bit of culture - concerts and exhibitions - or just have coffee inside an old safe box. Satisfaction guaranteed! Check the cultural program.

One of few old beautiful building survived in the city. They did a great restoration work. They offer a few exhibitions but it’s worth a visit just to see the architecture details.

What a shame not to mention the hedious content of the queer show. Should close the doors. Little children watching horror and abusive paintings. Unbelievable.

They have seasonal attractions, so the experience will be different depending on when you go, but the building is stunning! I loved the architecture. The people working there are pretty nice too.

The historic building has been renovated and many of the original features were preserved. the stained glass ceiling is out of this world. Normally has exhibits that are super interesting - I went to a Picasso showing, and a Brennand showing, both beautifully staged. Has...More

Perhaps the best free attraction in Porto Alegre. The magnificent ceiling and interior make this a cultural gem. The exhibits are very impressive. On the lower level there are range of displays on the history of the bank. Gift shop also available.
