Friendly, nice exposition on the history of beer-brewing in Blumenau, the capital of beer in Brazil.

If you are visiting Blumenau and its surroundings for the famous local beer of this region in Brazil, you definely have to visit this place. It is small and can be scanned in less than 15 minutes. Of course you can spend some more time looking at old equipments and discovering some good stories about the subject. It has free... More

It is a quaint little museum, there are informative videos you can watch and the exhibit shows the whole process of beer making from the very beginning to end product. I honestly am not too crazy about beer so I did not spend too much time on it. It is free of charge and the bathrooms are nice, also the... More

There is nothing to see in this museum, it was located on my path to colonial museum. Beer was not invented in Bluemenau, that is why there is nothing to see here.

I expected more from the beer museum of the self entitled basilian beer capital city. It is quite small, and tell a lot more about the city's historys than beer history itself. It is for free though, so if you are there, check it, at least.

If you want to see some equipment used to make beer, and to learn a bit about the history of the breweries in the area, this is the place. With a lot of people from Germany in the good old days - it is nothing strange to find this.

This could have been a much better experience had they actually sold some beer or beer related items. A decent selection of old beer making machines and some information on old breweries in the region but not much else to look at. It took about 10 minutes to look around so to make a visit form another town just to... More

Very good to understand how the local beer was made and it is still made. Also, it is not a place where you spend hours. Very instructive!

Only go if you are really a beer fanatic. It is small, so you expect to see eveything in less than 20 minutes.

The "tour" takes about 15 minutes. It shows a bit of beer history and some machines pieces used to cook a beer. It is a free ride. If you are a beer lover or have extra time you must go. Otherwise go to other city places.
