Wicked the musical

Excellent! Outstanding! Just like going to a London theatre or one on Broadway. Fantastic singing and acting. A must see!

Large with excellent sound and good seating overall. Have attended two musicals there and they were wonderful.

Great spot for shows and theater plays, including some of the most famous from Broadway. Always a good place to go when

The architecture is amazing! This is an excellent place to visit (even if you don't speak Portuguese and won't stay for the play). Some great plays were presented there, like The Lion King and Wicked.

Went to see wiked last weekend and it was just great the set up and sceneries are awesome, great sound and quality. Only but are the space between seats that are a bit small for tall people.

Teatro Renault, for itself, is not well organized and not particularly accessible. The lines for concession stands are particularly awful - if you try to buy food during the interval, you are all but certain to miss a couple of minutes from the second act. However, their stage is amazing, and that's why awesome plays like the Brazilian versions of... More

This is a beautiful renewed old house, with excelente places to seat and to hear (acustic). The ladies rooms are very good. There is a litle quiosk to buy food.

Great theater. It holds most of the Broadway plays in Brazil. The sound and view towards the stage is pretty good from any row.

It's a old and beautiful building in the city center, the presentation room has a good size, not so big, so the view of the stage is perfect from any seat. The área is not so safe at night.

Staying in Bela Vista

Neighbourhood Profile
Bela Vista
Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighbourhood walking through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
