Just as the title says, it's a quaint and cute place to while away an hour at the most. The cobbled street running through it is easily less than 1km and has a myriad of shops to choose from. Leather, sweets, clothing, jewellery, cafes...it's all...More

Artisans sell their crafts from various shops on a quiet side street. Worth a look for an hour and buy some gifts to take home.

The Samovodska Charshiya street is a must see. Just stop for 2 hours, see all the shops, have a turkish style coffee on hot sand, eat something and enjoy the arts of crafting and handmade.

At least this restored and attractive street offers tourists the opportunity to purchase real souvenirs, many of which are manufactured on site. A good experience.

Old town of Velikovo is much little than is told. But is picturesque and cute. Lots of old houses and lots of little butiques with all sorts of souvenirs and traditional things. I recomend.

The trade street from 19th century is very short, with some small shops for crafts and arts. Still better to go through it than choose the main street.

If you want to see how Geppeto made Pinocchio or how the landscapes is painted or the jewelry are made this is a place to visit. A street were the traders are also the ones who produce the objects they sell.

"Samovodska Charshiya" is an open-air museum complex in the Old Town of Veliko Tarnovo and it is worth a visit if you want to feel the vibe of the olden times. The cute, narrow, cobble-stone street is also called the "Street of Crafts" because there...More

In a city with huge historical sights, a street tells you how the old citizens have lived and worked!

Absolutely all of them were open. There were more tourist on Sunday than on Friday. The street is full of life on Sunday. But my advise is first to look and compare prices as well some shops give discounts if asked.
