Great evening! Superb food- all ingredients were fresh and the kitchen was spacious and clean! Toot and his wife and staff are a great team! We got a handout with the recipes, which really makes a nice souvenir and great way to get some vacation feeling, once your`re back home!

This was awesome. Toot is a kind and fun teacher (I read online that he only knows how to cook the meals he teaches--the rest his wife handles...but who cares? The class was still a blast and the food was delicious). You're in good hands with him. The man who took us through the market to shop for ingredients was... More

we had a good time during this cooking class. The first step when we go to the market buy the ingredients is interesting. Then we start the class in a small group. Very good lessons and funny. We learn how to cook 4 khmer disches. Very well organized. And The result was just delicious ! For only 10 $, do... More

A really professionally run experience. The market trip to start with to buy ingredients, was followed by a two hour cooking session where we made: fish amok, beef lok lak, spring rolls and banana tapioca pudding. Toot taught a clear and safe class with panache, good tips and an upbeat tempo. Fantastic foodie paradise.

Fantastic way of spending a morning. The way we were taught about the ingredients at the market and later with hands in. The hygiene was in top and so was the four course food!!!

There were about 15 of us from a variety of countries. Our first activity was a trip to the market where our guide pointed out some of the veggies we would be using. We also witnessed coconuts being grated and extruded (pressed) to make milk for the dishes we were about to cook. For the class, we were split into... More

We went on the morning class, costing $10pp. Amazing value for a trip to the market, the class, lunch and a take home recipe booklet. We cooked amok, loklak, spring rolls and the banana dessert so I think that covered all that people wanted. There were 10 in our group, English and French speakers, but it did not feel crowded... Well worth $10 to prepare and cook fish amok, beef lok lak, fried spring rolls and banana tapioca dessert in a friendly local house restaurant. Chef Toot was friendly and fun!

My boyfriend and I took the afternoon class at Nary Kitchen. We went there the same morning to book it and met the chef who was nice and welcoming, but we found out later that the afternoon class is run by another chef who is quite the opposite: rude, bossy and completely lacking any sense of humour! The course started... More

We booked this at the last minute after reading about it in the lonely planet. So glad we did. It was a really great afternoon. The cooking was fun and the meals were really delicious. Could not recommend more.
