(A Boutique Winery with excellent quality wines. We were visiting the winery shortly after the Errazuriz tour and lunch at Viña El Escorial. We didn't know this winery and it was a nice surprise to take the tour and taste some of Mauro Von Siebenthal's signature wines. Soledad, our guide, is a charming and very kind person. Time passed quickly, it was great to meet and have been there. The winery only makes the tour and the wine tasting, by appointment. We really enjoyed the experience.)  💖

My hotel gave me a printout form the Aconcagua Wine Route which sayid that their hours were from 9:30 - 12:30 on Sundays. I went by at 11:30 am on Sunday the 5th of August. The winery was not open. If you tell tourists your opening hours, you should stick to them.

Just one hour out of Santiago there is the beautiful Aconcagua valley, and in it this winery is worth visiting. Soledad and Darwin make a great job at showing the vineyard and winery, and we finished with a tasting of their wines. Parcela #7 and the Syrah were impressive. Worth the visit!

Great tour and tasted icon flights. Top shelf isn't super cheap as noted, but wine is elegant, balanced and of high quality. What you would expect with Errazuriz next door- they're vinedo chadwick just scored 100pts from james suckling. Try the carmenere and rose. Pair this with a visit to flaherty wines.. errazuriz is overpriced and you can buy WAY cheaper in the states. Support MOVI!

This winery is the top shelf of wines in Chile, boasting the most expensive wine made in this country. We had a CA mentality when we arrived without notice and it was closed on a Saturday around 3PM. Knowing that much of the country closes down between 2-4PM we then called the phone number and the owner Mauro said to come back at 5PM and we did. It was just us and Mauro the owner. Don't expect to have wine tastings without advance notice because the winery is a limited production one with expensive wines and they are not going to have open bottles sitting around waiting for visitors. It is off the beaten track and does not get a lot of traffic so you can understand the reluctance to open a bottle that might sit. However, he may open some of the newer lower priced vintages. We were lucky that he had just hosted a group of journalists and we caught the leftovers of some of his best wines. We had a Carabantes 2012 Syrah, a Toknar 2009 Petit Verdot and a Montelig(7142 bots) 2009 a blend of Cab, Petit Verdot & Carmenere. Wow, wow, wow. We bought one of each in a 3 boxset for $70. The very best that Chile has to offer. So don't expect food, a wide tasting experience, just great reds. Call ahead and enjoy Mauro and the surrounding area.

We visited Von Siebenthal Vineyard and were fortunate to have private tour with Mauro Von Siebenthal the owner. We loved having the first hand information about his wines and the pride he takes in making them. We purchased 2 of his wines and later in our trip drank them. We loved them!
