Walked from San Pedro to Pukara de Quitor and then walked up the hill to the second rest stop. It was my first time ever climbing so high (for me!) and it was amazing!!

Don't bother renting a bike - its a 30 min walk from town and you'll probably get a lift. The ruins weren't of much interest and the information on boards was flakey. But the views walking up to the top were great making it worth...More
Pukara de Quitor is one of the few places close enough to San Pedro to be easily accesible by bike, yet very different. The view from the top is well worth the hike, as is the historical value of the site.
This is an old fortress going back several hundreds years. The conquistadors destroyed it. What else is new ! The site is somewhat desorganised and in need of a some major repairs. You can walk around and go on the top, but be very careful....More
