This is not a must see, but is fascinating from a geological point of view. You get to see many geysers there and have t9 go before the sun comes up full as the effect is not the same on the smoke. We also visited...More

Great place to see the geysers, the third biggest in the world. But be sure you dress warm, the temperature is -10 in the morning!

This place not just for the geysers, which are amazing, but the swim in the geothermal pools afterwards was incredible. I couldn't fathom getting out of warm clothes in -1° temperature. However I would encourage you to take the plunge because it's worth it. In...More

Its a very early tour (4:30 am) but worth the early wakeup. The geysers are beautiful and something out of this world. Worth every penny.

Like other reviews I've read (after going), these are NOT geysers, but fumaroles. If you're in San Pedro and have time, it's an ok half-day trip, but there are better things to see in the area. And be VERY CAREFUL who you do this tour...More

We bought this tour from the Grado 10 agency and it was great! They picked us up very early (5 am) and we went to the Geisers del Tatio. The temperature is really low up there, but it's worth every second! To observe the shapes...More

This trip started at 5 am but it was totally worth it! It takes around 1 hour and half to get to geysers and it is better to do it with a travel agency. Keep in mind that it is -20 degrees C there so...More

If you've never seen geysers before and you're in the region then El Tatio is probably worth a trip. However, there is nothing particularly special or enchanting contrary to what you'll read on many blogs. It is what it is; a couple hundred people shivering...More

In New Zealand a geyser is something that shoots water in the air. Most of what is here are fumeroles with the occasional bubbling water pool. Having said that it's in a beautiful place and looks wonderful as the sun rises over the mountains and...More

It was a long trip with a very early start but it was well worth it! The overall view and experience was amazing. Make sure you are prepared with warm clothing and the high altitude.

We were there last year and I wish we rather rented a Jeep than relying on the tour operators. 100% possible. Just make sure you have a map and sat nav.
