I had a really good guide for this so she made it really interesting. There's a lot history to it and the actual excavation I think is worthwhile.

Although a small private museum, it is really worth a visit although there is an entrance fee (unlike Luoyang other museums which are normally free). There are 26 remains of ancient carriages and its horses. The fact that the museum is half underground (as they...More

The museum is rather small. Still, we spent about an hour and a half there. Conducting some research before going will definitely enrich your experiences. After all, we are talking about East Zhou Dynasty, well over 2000 years ago. We followed a guide to hear...More

This partially excavated grave site is rather like a very small version of parts of the famous Xian warrior pit. Its mainly the remnants of buried chariots and horses. well worth an hour

Quite central in Luoyang, this mausoleum is really worth the visit. It is very small, less than one hour would be enough. All the carriages are in a big central pit which is the main interest of this place. We could use more explanations in...More
