Had a good time cruising through Birmingham's art museum. It was small. Smaller than I expected and saw everything in less time than planned for but it was clean and quaint.

We were lucky enough to catch both a contemporary art survey show- with some excellent self taught art- and a show on 16th century Dutch painting Both of these were ,informative and well signed with much useful info on many of the works

An often overlooked art museum that boasts an eclectic collection full of pleasant surprises for the museum visitor. Easily accessible to interstates in the heart of downtown.

THis is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon. The space is beautiful, there is a lovely permanent collection, and the team is great about getting temporary exhibits. Also love the restaurant.

We went there for First Friday. In addition to the great exhibits, there was a complimentary tasting of a cocktail and a table where you could make a craft.
