Always a great visit!

Our family loves to go to the Alabama Theater. It's always a fun experience to go see a classic movie in such a grand theater.

I have attended several events at this venue since the remodeling and reopening. The acoustics are amazing, I don't believe that there is a "Bad" seat in the house!!

We went to the Bring it live tour. The venue was easy to find and the process to get in was easy. When we arrived it was raining we were not allowed to bring in our umbrella if it didn't fit in our bags. Thankfully ours did. The lobby is not that big so it was very crowded. There were... More

The Alabama has it all and is very well renovated. It is 1928 theater at its best, complete with a great Wurlitzer organ. comfort is good and parking is also OK.

If you are planning on attending an event, I strongly suggest you get good tickets because there is no big screen to see the performers. However the seating is pretty good. We had tickets midway near the top and we could see the stage, however, if the tickets would have been further up, I do not think we would had... More

My wife, my son and daughter in law went to this historic theatre to watch the Sound of Music for the umpteenth time. I had never been to the Alabama Theatre, in spite of living here in Birmingham for over 11 years. Gorgeous place, very nostalgic, really well done- if you've never been here, you need to go!

Love going to this old theater. If you are going to a concert make sure to sit on ground level. Sound is not so great in the balcony. Still a fabulous venue!!

... Theaters I have ever seen. Saw modest mouse there and it was spectacular. The decor of the theatre was as much a part of the experience as the light show. Great, intimate and with nice sight lines.

We went to the Steven Curtis Chapman and Third Day concert on April 21. The venue is very nice! I couldn't see a bad seat in the house. Very intimate setting but large enough. Acoustics and sound was good. Very beautiful venue

If you've never been to the Alabama Theater, your missing one of the treasures of the south. It's like stepping back in time. Great staff. Great decor. The only drawback is that they book a lot of private events and are not always open to the public.
