I have visited this park so many times since I have been alive I am not sure if I want to tell my age. It has changed a lot over the years but it is still the same in many ways.

Rickwood Classic was in played on June 1, 2016. The Birmingham Barons play at Rickwood Field yearly for the annual Rickwood Classic, where they play in the "old school" uniforms and everything. It was a step back in time, and Rickwood Field has been preserved...More

Visited the park for the Rickwood Classic, and was in awe of the memorabilia around the stadium and the opportunity to meet players from the Negro League.

My husband and I went to the Annual Rickwood Classic, throwback ballgame. The experience was soooo much fun! I can't wait to go back.

Walking into Rickwood Field literally takes you back a 100 years. The concession area is fun, the seating is how it was when baseball was young. The outfield advertising is made up of some original advertisers. The overall experience is well worth a visit to...More

Rickwood Field is an incredibly old baseball stadium. You will feel like you step back in time. Every May the Birmingham Barons play one of their games there, usually with a theme, and it's a great time to go.
