Vulcan Park is a place to be visited at least 3 times: in the summer, in winter and in October or November. The views are awesome and, depending on the season, completely different. The museum is good for children. One can celebrate a wedding or...More

I got engaged here on Dec. 22, 2017. This site has an absolutely breathtaking view at night! It was very foggy so our pictures didn’t have the best quality at the top, but there is also a observation deck at the bottom with just as...More

A little hard to figure how to get into the 10 acre park. You get your tickets before you go up to the Vulcan statue standing on a pedestal. There is an elevator to take you up about 125 feet to the top of the...More

As someone who loves high views, this is a really nice spot to see the Birmingham skyline! Went on a sunny day and got some really nice pictures from miles off. There's a choice of elevator or stairs to get to the top, being semi-lazy...More

While traveling we stopped here and learned about the Vulcan, rode the elevator to the top, experienced great views of the city, and visited the history center within the park.

One of the best views in the city. Make sure to visit both during the day and again at night for a completely different perspective.

I love the whole park, inside the museum and up in the Vulcan statue itself. It is a gorgeous view of downtown Birmingham. It does need a little cleaning up, but it is an old park. I proposed to my wife here. We enjoy going...More

For the best overview of the city - both visually and its history - start your visit to Birmingham here. Even without going in the tower or the museum, you have a spectacular view of the skyline of the city. It's a quick elevator ride...More
