Each shrub, tree and shrub or flower in the Gardens has a 'story' and each and every one is interesting - some are fascinating! A beautiful place that is a 'must-see' in my opinion.

This garden is so beautiful and definitely worth a visit. I was surprised it's free. There are so many lovely little areas to meander. It's a great place to spend a beautiful day.

Beautiful grounds, but we were there during a hot, sticky July evening and the mosquitoes chased us away from seeing more of the park.

Excellent place to walk around and soak up all the beautiful landscaping and information about plants and history. Nice library on site that has a feeling of reading a book in a treehouse. Wonderful gift shop and place to eat.

Every visit to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens is great - even when it is soooo hot! You can always find a place in the shade to look at shade-loving plants or to take a break and have a picnic. I love taking pictures there.
