After all the hype about this mountain, We were fairly disappointed. The ride to the top on the gondolas was very good. As usual lots of Chinese tourists,But you need to be in real good health to go to all the places on the mountain.Lots and lots and lots of steps.

Beautiful views from the spectacular cable cars and even with the mist around the top it was well worth the trip. At the top there are a lot of steps, up and down, along a well-built walkway and you have to climb another 900 metres to get to the top, Horse Washing Pond. It can be a bit chilly but... More

Canadian mountain is beautiful with its pine tree and small waterfall with guan yin goddess statute. From cable car, we can see the beautiful Dali city with its lake and mountain.

The chair lift takes you high into the mountain (and into the cloud if your weather was like ours) passing over the trees, giant bamboo and old tombs. At the top is an interesting temple complex.

Simply awesome, even foreigners who know mountains and hiking, love cangshan natural resort. it s a full day tour with cable cars up and provides both impressive views of fauna and flora at 2900m altitude (middle station), and at the top at 3.900m altitude. Prepare proper shoes, warm clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen etc, it s professional mountaineering up there. On the... More

The ride was fun and view fantastic! Make sure you bring a jacket if you go up there after September as it gets chilly up there.

Wonderful scenery and plenty of fresh air. The cable cars and cableways mean you have so many choices. You can do energetic walks or casual strolls. The cable cars allow you to access the hidden areas high up the mountain without too much effort.

Don't miss walking in this gorgeous mountain range in Dali. I took the Zhonghe chairlift for 30 RMB one way (60rmb return) First I headed to the right (ie north) along the Jade Belt Road for about 3kms until I reached the waterfall. Stunning views. Then I back tracked to Zhonghe temple and proceeded south about 4kms and descended down... More

I found the place quite easily following the map provided on here. There is a small charge of 40 RMB. The entrance to the actual path was a bit tricky to find and I missed it at first. There was literally no one else walking and the only person I saw was a guy coming down on horseback. It's not... More

You can hike up (2hr) or take the cable car and then proceed to the jade cloud path along the sides of the mountain. Very easy walk with fantastic views of the city and landscape. Definitely a must visit if you're in Dali.
