Cavtat old town is a beautiful harbour with stunning scenery.. We took the walk around the complete town which was very nice and very long, but well worth it..

Away from the crowds in Dubrovnik, Cavtat is what Croatia should be like. Plenty of places to sit for a beer or coffee, plenty of places to eat snacks, light lunches or dinners and plenty of space to wander. Prices are much lower than Dubrovnik...More

Long weekend in Cavtat, stay here instead of Dubrovnik and get bus or boat across to visit - it's a lovely, quaint little town - perfect for quick break or holiday. Great for relaxed walks and people watching

Friendly, pretty, nice shops, bars and restaurants. Fab walks around the headland. Love Cavtat. All the beauty of Croatia but a bit more going on. Fantastic yachts moor here...you might spot a celebrity!

Wonderful area can't fault it. Do go if you get the chance. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and a wonderful 360 walk around the cliff head.

Cavtat is just as you would expect - small, charming, waterside town set against the most beautiful, quiet bay yet close to Dubrovnick and the airport to make it the perfect location.

Sorry I can't help. We stayed in Lapad. Cavtat is near the airport, so I can't imagine it would be a fortune. Check on the Internet for taxi fares.
