This is a must when you are on the island of Hvar. Lovely nature and amazing clean sea. Be careful if you are renting a boat.

Unless you go to the resorts for some drinks, expensive dinner and sunbathing, nothing to do in the islands. Forests are standard and they offer nothing insteresting.

40 kuna per person is a ticket price (return) for taxi boat from Hvar to island Marinkovac. Mlini beach for us was really fantastic. You have some restaurants and bars near to beaches. Sea is crystal clean, sea temperature is wonderful in September. Recommended.

Take a trip on a speedboat, or hire a boat yourself and get yourself around these pretty little islands. Each with their own little alcoves and white pebble beaches.

Visited the islands right at the end of the season - wonderfully quiet. The harbour is within easy reach of several restaurants and there are a couple of (quite expensive) little shops to buy essentials. Toilets and showers were really nicely looked after and very...More

We hired a small boat with a 20hp engine off a guy on the edge of the harbour for 650kn that included fuel for the day. We had a great time exploring the islands and snorkelling in all the hidden coves - it's not expensive...More

You can rent a boat from Hvar Port for 500-600 Kunas (85-90 euros ) for the whole day with a full tank and go cruising around the islands. The boats usually hold upto 6 people easily. We were 4. The owner of the boat will...More

We visited Palimizana early October on a water taxi from Hvar at 10.30am with return at 4.00pm. Main reason for our visit was the tranquility we were hoping to find. And we did for the most part. The island is very pleasant and quiet at...More

Took a sailboat out of the harbor for a 5 hour "excursion". We sailed around the Pakleni Islands and docked a few times to swim and snorkel. Very scenic and relaxing. Great snorkeling! Would recommend!

Totally agree with Aditya100. Palenki islands are not really worth visiting unless you want an after-party club that is open until 4am on a small island with an unremarkable beach. Much better to spend your time... More

The season will have started so pretty much everything will be open. Suggestions would be - hire your own small boat and tour around the different Pakleni islands for a day - you may even want to do it twice. Don't park... More
