Golden Cape (Zlatni rt/Punta corrente), Kurent Bay and Montauro Cape are located around 1.5 km away from the town-center, south of the ACI Marina and Lone Bay.The coast is mostly rocky. There are a few beaches covered with small round stones, and Kurent Bay, the most visited beach in this area, covered with gravel. Kurent Cape is on the eastern side (see map). The beaches are rocky and the access to the sea is not easy. At Kurent Cape you will also find a pier where you can temporarily tie your boat and there is also a small gravel-covered bay.

Every morning we enjoyed discovering the paths of Punta Corrente - with gorgeous sea views of Rovinj and islands and the park is full of surprises like old buildings, quarries, ruins and the stunning Cairn beach

Amazing nature near the center of Rovinj. There you can walk or cycling and admire Adriatic sea, rocks. If you like climbing the rocks, this place is also for you :) Do not miss this place! :)

This area was just down from our hotel and offered good walks to suit all capabilities. It ran around the coast so the views were stunning and just a lovely area to relax and enjoy. Definately worth a visit.

Lovely to wander around and get out of the noise and heat of the old town. Wonderful to swim from and sunbathe on the rocky ledges by the beach

Trails are very nice although so crowded in the afternoon that biking is a challenge. I would recommend going early or late in the day if you want to bike or run for exercise. There are "beaches" (large pebbles/rocks) where you need to pay for...More

One of the best beaches I've been to in my life! The pines smell really nice and the sea is calm and warm.

To give you a useful answer, it would be helpful to know where you're coming from and what you mean by "near". If you're coming from out of town by bus, the bus stop is in the centre of Rovinj and it's about a fifteen minute... More

I would say it would be fine in season as it is a popular destination and there are lots of people about. It also has a naturist area, just in case you were not aware and to avoid any nasty suprises
