For anyone considering a visit to Croatia, please consider Rovinj. It is not suitable for children but for adults, the scenery, boat trips and restaurants are superb. Consider a Hotel on one of the 2 Islands close by. They are both served by a very good ferry service. The resort is about 45 mins in a coach from Pula airport.

We had a little boat trip, some walks and enjoyed the old town. Not the best food we have had in Croatia because it is fairly touristy so choose your restaurants wisely! Beautiful place.

Beautiful harbor full of small fishing and tourist boats. Looks just exactly what you imagine an Adriatic harbor to look like. Great opportunities for pictures. In the middle of summer it was incredibly busy, with boats coming in and out of the harbor even late in the evening with lights on. Great atmosphere. There was also a concert in the... More

The picturesque port of Rovinj left us wanting to go back again and again. The people in town were friendly and helpful too.

Rovinj is for sure the best town in Istra. Old town and harbour with many restaurants and bars. Must see.

Rovinj was a fisherman city, so this is fisherman port. Here you can find a lot of small fisherman boats. Very charming atmosphere

Spent a week and it was definately not enough. This coastline has literally everything and is connected to Venice Split by ferries.

After 2 hours, one gets bored. Good place to have dinner or lunch. Not as expensive as Italy or Austria. Croatia is still not as developed as West Europe. The harbor was cute.

Nice visit of the town of Rovinj and the small port of that town. Very clean with beautiful colours of the sea. Just in front you see the small Island of Burjini.
