Skip the crazy tourist in other cities. This is such a more amazing experience. It's so pretty and relaxing. Great food and the water around is crystal clear

The old town in Rovinj is similar to other small European towns, the town is beautiful in its own right, the ambiance is one of time standing still and it brings about a feeling of relaxed calm. The day I was out walking around Old...More

I didn't expect Rovinj old town to be so cute. It is very natural, instead of more touristic Italian cities. People leave here in these tiny streets. Love it.

This is a pretty town which is well worth a walk round in the evening for an hour. Preferred the quieter north side of the town. Lots of good restaurants but worth booking in advance for the better ones. Parking can be difficult, best option...More

Very nice walk around old city peninsula with amazing sea views and landscapes. A lot of narrow streets to be explored with many small pubs and bars where to sit and drink good cocktails. Recommended!

Rovinj is the place to visit when in Istra. Great restaurants, bars, best hotels in Croatia, lots to see and feel :) Even in the stormy weather city looks beautiful

Just wandering around the old town is an enjoyment with its eclectic mix of shops and bars clustered around the hilltop church. Saturday night was brilliant with live music coming from a number of stages around the harbour - from a modern cover band with...More

Beautiful scenery. Lots of winding streets and something new to look at when you turn every corner. The old town is pedestrianised. Lovely to walk around in the evening. We were worried about it being a hectic tourist trap in August. It was busy not...More

We took the boat from Katarina island and had a walk through the beautiful old town up to the church. Expect lots of shops and restaurants, a little bazaar and great atmosphere.

Hello Allison, Search online for the ferry schedule. In October their schedule is not o often as in the high season, but it is regular. Depending on the distance, the price could be quite high. Both prices and schedule are... More

For sure recommend Rovinj. It's culture and architecture instead of typical coast city Opatija - active during summer.
