Swim stop on a boat trip

A few hours relaxing on the islands is a great stop on any boat trip along this coast. Secluded swimming and picnic, recommeded away from the resort crowds.

We found a private boat from Fazana who took us on a panorama tour around the park and then we spent the afternoon swimming on one of the small islands. That island is a little bit secluded, with nothing to do or see but great for relaxing on the beach for a few hours.

We visited Brijuni island and caught the official ferry over there from Fazana. We didn't want a guide but still had to pay the same as people who did elect to have a guide (20 kuna pp). Very unfair and annoying! We walked through a forested area to the Byzantine Castrum (seen in the pictures). This ancient site was in... More

Been there already a few time! But last time we spend 3 nights there!!! and that is just the right time for this island! you can make long walks, or rent a bike, or a little car! it is so much fun, our children enjoyed every minute! you have a safari park, it is amazing! We are definitely coming back!

Perfect one-day trip to former Tito's (former dictator of Yugoslavia) residence island. Tito was a man of great taste, it seems, spending about half of the year here and visited by contemporary elite from Sophia Loren to Kadaffi. Excellent for one day trip - get a bicycle locally (no bicycles or cars allowed from outside) and enjoy pine forest full... More

my family had seen bad reviews on trip advisor of the tours taking ages, so we hunted around and looked for good deals and the type of trip we wanted. We decided to take the main boat across from Fazana to Brijuni Islands which was a pleasant half an hour boat trip. We arrived and joined the English tour and... More

We recently took a boat cruise from Fazana around Brijuni and would recommend it, paid 300 Kuna for 1.5 hour tour, great trip and nice time around Fazana.

Two ways to visit them, either thanks to official boat bringing you to the main island and with a guide and a touristic train (220 HRK/pers) or thanks to private boats having a tour of all islands (120 HRK/pers) with option to stay on one island for beach and bath ( 2 or 4 hours). Both are completely different ways... More

Loved our visit here, enjoyed the train trip around with English speaking guide. We both enjoyed our free time in the garden there.,a relaxing quite place to reflect !Thought the Elephant looked sad and lonely at the small safari park though, which wasn't nice to see.otherwise loved seeing the Zebras there.

If you like nature and some peace... go here. It's like a time machine to the 60's. Take the guided tour (4 hours) and see the safari park, church, botanic garden and the Tito museum. If you have time left.. take a swim too. We loved it!
