Cool park full of iguanas. Just remember they are in the trees too. There were a few unsuspecting tourists who narrowly missed a shower from the iguanas in the trees above them.

Very fun place to see! There were many iguanas everywhere and you could get very close. There were also people feeding them. Good short trip!

The iguanas are everywhere and don’t pay any attention to humans. The kids love it. You can go up close take pictures then visit the Cathedral across the street.

The park is located opposite the cathedral. It's quite small and has a large statue of Simon Bolivar on a horse in the middle. All around are islands of grass and iguanas everywhere. Even in the trees! Also loads of pigeons which is less nice....More

Beautiful park with amazing trees, a statue of Bolivar, views of the cathedral, and dozens of iguanas to watch, wether they are lying in the sun or climbing trees. Pretty cool and worth the quick drop by while you are exploring downtown on your way...More

Fun break from our walk. Lots of very friendly iguanas that likely need to be fed as there is not enough natural food here. Locals are very proud of their Park.

A very cute little park to watch the iguanas go about their daily life. There are plenty of touriss here but I would not say that it is overcrowded. t Worth a visit

A unique park in front of the cathedral where iguanas run loose. Fun to get close and take pictures as the iguanas (and pigeons) meander about. The grounds are well kept and a must-see for kids. If you don’t like lizards, though, best stay away.

The park is different for the iguanas, they go down of the streets when the sun comes out and that´s why th visit has to be when the sun is up.

I'm not sure if iguanas can be over fed, but since they are vegetarian, if you bring treats, fruits and vegetables are best. The signs do ask that the public not feed them, so I am sure that the iguanas won't mind if you... More
