Pretty church adjacent to the Plaza Presidents Vicente Rocafuerte. Paid a brief visit as dusk fell, when the church was illuminated and the evening service was being held. I didn’t want to be disrespectful so only viewed from the entrance.

There isn't much very remarkable about this little church just off Blvd 9 de October at the Rotonda on the Malecon 2000. But it's a good place for the reverent to stop in and say a prayer.

The church sits right next to Iguana park and is worth stopping in if you are already there. I am not sure it would be worth a separate trip to see just the church.

We went in as were across the street at Iguana Park. The cathedral is a beautiful impressive place that one should go in if you are anywhere close to the area. Cheers !

Built in 1700 and re designed in 1899 it's indeed a symbol of the relevance of the Christianity in Ecuador.
